COEDS WIN THE TITLE

 305 Coeds claimed the title for senior Girls volleyball league with no defeats.   

The remaining standings were, as follows: Crickettes, Bomberettes, Diverettes, Mesquites, Starlettes, Buckaneers, Chickadees, Crusaders, Unknown 9 and Tri-Debs.

Following were the members of championship Coeds: Aki Kodama, Shin Kodama, Marchi Mori, Yoshiko Osato, Phyllis, Osato, Molly Abe, May Mori, Louise Hayakawa, Suzy Suzuki.

305 GIRLS COPS JR VOLLEYBALL TITLE
Repeating its championship performance of last season 305 Girls once again claimed the Jr. Girls Volleyball title over 307 girls in a play-off by defeating them by 15-5, 11-15, 15-2 score Tuesday evening.

Both teams had four wins and 1 loss and were tied for first.

Lily Okada, Akiko Kodama, Yasuko Ozawa, Teruko Shimizu, Ruth Takahashi, Lily Nishimura, Alice Ozaki, Alyce Sakamoto, Shiz Matsuoka.
Alternates: Tei Trokey, Kikuye Kawamoto and Midori Koba.

Junior All-Stars the following girls have been selected:

Moody Palmer, Jr a resident of Poston & a guard of the Parker Indians basketball team was suddenly called to the Army last Tues. night, Mar. 2, and at this time wished to express his regret for not being able to see all of his friends in Poston before his departure.

POSTON ALL-STARS WILL MEET PARKER INDIANS ON SUNDAY, JUNE 14

First of a number of important athletic events for Poston was announced by the Recreation Department today with the scheduling of a softball game between the Poston All-Stars and the Parker Indians on Sunday, June 14. Accompanying the Indians will be their 25-piece band.
