You might be interested in knowing something of church activities in Camp Two, so herewith—--

Personnel and Organization

Issei ministers in Camp Two are Rev. Takeda, Noji and Nagai of Watsonville, Salinas, and Lindsay, respectively.

Young People’s pastor is Wm. Kobayashi with Clifford Nakadegawa as assistant. Members of the Young People’ Board are Masao Takeshita, Kenzo Yoshida, Gladys Onoye, Jimmy Hirakawa, and Kenji Shikuma.

Committee on Young People’s Activities, Sunday School, Publicity, Music, Public Relations and Finance do much of the church work.

Churchgoers are from Lindsay, Sacramento, Fresno, Sanger, Watsonville, Clovis, and Monterey.

Recreation Hall 211 is the church.

Worship Services

Sunday School has an attendance of 125 learners and 17 teachers. Young Peoples Service is held 10 AM and Adult Services with an average of 40 people us held at 8:30 PM.

Other Activities

Poston II Church boasts of two choirs, the Cathedral Choir for older folks and the Chancel Choir for the younger ones. Practices are held Mondays for Cathedral and Saturdays for Chancel.

Singspiration will make its debut next Tuesday evening and is planned to be held every week.

Review

Coming back to Camp I now----Church #5 had a turn-away crowd at their special Sunday School Teachers Dedication Service. Impressive candlelight dedication ceremony climaxed the service. To insure variety, Singspiration is now being sponsored by each church. In turn----Church #44 was first and they put on an excellent sing.
